In his New Year's interview, which took place on December 31, 2024, Oleksiy Arestovych shared his thoughts on the current moment and characterized it as the final stage of the old world.

He paid special attention to the issue of the internal strength of Ukrainian society and quoted the words of Oleg Khomyak: 'Do not chase after hope, understand that you need to part with hopes, and then you will find inner strength when you realize that there is nothing and no one in the world who would solve the tasks facing us.'

'When we stop translating our hopes and responsibilities onto Trump, Zelensky, Macron, or anyone else, then Ukraine will become very strong because this means that there will be a combination of strong personalities here who do not hope for anything or anyone,' Arestovych summarized.
