The company Arianespace launched five satellites into space for the French Space Agency (CNES). As part of mission VV27, the 35-meter launch vehicle Vega C took off from the Kourou spaceport in French Guiana at 05:03 Kyiv time.
One of these satellites, MicroCarb, developed by CNES, will study carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions worldwide. The satellite weighs 180 kilograms and will be able to measure CO2 concentration with an accuracy of one part per million.
MicroCarb will orbit in a sun-synchronous orbit at an altitude of 650 kilometers for at least five years. Four other CO3D satellites, also created by Airbus, will operate at an altitude of 502 km above the Earth for at least six years.All satellites are already deployed and performing their tasks. As a bonus, a Soyuz-2.1b rocket launch also took place in Russia with the Iranian satellite NAHID-2 among others.

In this news, we learned about the successful launch of five satellites for CNES by Arianespace, which will help study carbon dioxide emissions and monitor the Earth. The Vega C rocket accomplished its mission by deploying all five satellites into their designated orbits.
