Nightly strikes in Ukraine left victims

According to The Sun: Vladimir Putin ignored international outrage and continued attacks in Ukraine, resulting in four deaths during yet another nighttime shelling.

Following the tragedy in Kyiv, where 23 people were recently killed by Russian missile strikes, Putin's forces resumed attacks.

In Kherson, two people died from shelling, and nine were injured.

In Dnipro, a man and a woman died due to fires caused by Shahed drones.

Among the deceased, there are four children. In total, 553 strikes were recorded across the regions during the night.

A day of mourning declared in Kyiv

In Kyiv, where a two-year-old girl named Anzhelika died along with her mother, a day of mourning has been declared. The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachенко, confirmed:

“Unfortunately, the number of dead in Kyiv has risen to 23 people.”

After the attacks, President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed his anger:

“This strike clearly shows that Russia's objectives have not changed. They want war.”

The fire has not yet been extinguished, and rescuers continue to work at the sites. U.S. President Donald Trump, commenting on the events, noted that

“he is not happy about this news, but he is not surprised.”

International reaction and next steps

Actions are gaining momentum: The U.S. State Department has approved the sale of more than 3,000 ERAM cruise missiles to Ukraine, worth $610 million. Additionally, the European Union is discussing a 25-mile buffer zone on the Ukraine border and a plan to recover £173 billion of frozen Russian assets to restore Ukraine.

The situation in Ukraine remains tense, and the continuation of attacks underscores the seriousness of the conflict. The increasing international support, particularly in the form of weapons, indicates Western countries' desire to assist Ukraine during this difficult time. Meanwhile, the human losses evoke deep sympathy and call for further efforts to resolve the situation.
