Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, confirmed that an enemy drone struck the area. The assault caused damage to private homes, a Nova Poshta postal branch, and a grocery store.

As of 1:40 p.m., four casualties had been recorded. Several privately owned vehicles also caught fire. Kiper stated:
