Drone Attack Damages Lviv Apartment, Shatters Windows
According to Novyny.live: A Russian Shahed-type drone attack on Lviv on January 15 caused explosions that blew out the windows in the apartment of a local resident, Olena. The incident resulted in damage to the residential property, though details on potential casualties have not yet been reported. This attack highlights the increasing reach of aerial assaults into Ukraine's western regions, which have historically been less frequent targets.
I had just gotten up because I was planning to go to work. I heard the Shahed drone going into a descent, probably somewhere, you imagine, maybe near the circus area. And then we heard the explosion and saw the fire.

Military Escalation Prompts Response
This strike is part of an escalation in military actions across Ukraine, particularly affecting western areas previously considered more secure. Given the rise in aerial attacks, local authorities and security services continue to implement measures to protect civilians and infrastructure.
Efforts to repair damaged property and provide aid to those affected have also intensified, as communities work to adapt to the evolving security situation within the country.
