According to UATV: A Russian military attack on the city of Zaporizhzhia has left five districts affected, with three people injured—one of them a child. The assault caused extensive damage, destroying or damaging 42 residential structures, including 7 apartment buildings and 35 private homes. Critical infrastructure and a parking lot were also hit.
In one multi-story building, the facade was torn off from the first to the fifth floor. A commission is already on site assessing the extent of the destruction. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that Russia has used over 1,700 guided aerial bombs, 106 missiles, and roughly 2,200 attack drones.

“I don’t know how it happened—I heard my mother scream. I quickly grabbed my things and ran out. Everything exploded,” said Anna.Another witness, Yuriy, added:
“I had just turned off the TV and lay down when I heard the blast. I was covered in shattered glass,” Yuriy recounted.These accounts highlight the tragedy’s scale and the fear gripping people amid the ongoing war.
This attack on Zaporizhzhia is part of Russia’s prolonged military aggression against Ukraine, which continues to inflict severe humanitarian and material costs on civilians.
