In the Voronezh region of Russia, a large-scale fire broke out as a result of a drone attack, which led to a series of explosions at a military ammunition depot. According to official information from the regional governor, the drones were shot down by air defense systems, and the fire was caused by falling debris.

Occupational authorities claim that there is currently no information about casualties or damage to civilian buildings. However, Russian Telegram channels report that the ammunition depot, which is now engulfed in flames and detonation, is located in Ostrogozhsk.

Local residents report loud explosions and a column of smoke, visible from tens of kilometers away. Currently, authorities are evacuating residents from nearby areas. 

Recall that in Rostov region, a fire from an oil depot spread to a residential area (video).

In particular,  in the morning of August 23, a drone again attacked an oil depot in Proletarsk, Rostov region of the Russian Federation, where the fire has not been extinguished since Sunday. It was reported that the drone attempted to attack the oil depot territory around five in the morning.

As reported, another fuel tank exploded at the oil depot in Proletarsk, Rostov region, which was attacked by Ukrainian drones five days ago.

By the way, according to an OSINT analyst in X, the fire has already completely destroyed 14 fuel tanks, four – partially destroyed, 16 – undamaged, the fate of another 44 is unknown, as they are still hidden from satellites by thick smoke.
