According to Novyny.live: On June 24, 2023, Russian forces struck a filling station located on the edge of Sumy. The attack left three civilians injured. A 57-year-old man, a trolleybus driver, later died in the hospital from severe wounds caused by a guided aerial bomb (KAB).
Local official Oleh Hryhorov reported that 'the damage is not severe. Vehicles were also damaged. The consequences of the attack are being clarified.' This incident is part of a broader escalation in Russian strikes. On June 22, Russia hit the outskirts of the community with six guided bombs. The following day, June 23, a missile attack on Kryvyi Rih killed four people.
Oleh Hryhorov, a local government representative: 'Strength to endure this heavy loss.'
