Nearly 40 Strikes Hit Dnipropetrovsk Region, Leaving Seven Injured.
Dnipropetrovsk Region Under Attack
According to UATV: On June 9, 2023, Russian forces launched a series of strikes against the Dnipropetrovsk region, wounding seven civilians. According to Oleksandr Ganzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, the area endured close to 40 separate attacks.
The assaults involved:
- two guided Kh-59/69 air-launched missiles;
- 166 Shahed-type attack drones.
The bombardments damaged multiple apartment buildings and private homes, as well as a sports school in the Synelnykove district. In the Nikopol area, a private residence and several vehicles were hit. A fuel station in the Pavlohrad district also sustained a direct strike.
Regional Situation Remains Tense
Ongoing attacks continue to threaten the safety of local residents, keeping the region on edge. This escalation is part of the broader conflict in Ukraine, which has driven up violence and worsened humanitarian conditions in affected areas. The strategically important Dnipropetrovsk region remains a frequent target, raising serious concerns for civilian safety and critical infrastructure.
Regional authorities are urging residents to stay vigilant and follow safety protocols amid the persistent danger.
