Deadly Strikes Hit Southern Ukraine on April 2: One Killed, Several Wounded, Port Infrastructure Damaged.
Assaults on Kherson and Odesa
According to UATV: On April 2, Russian forces targeted the Tsentralnyi district of Kherson with a drone strike, wounding a civilian. A man sustained injuries to his head and leg in the attack. Meanwhile, in the Dniprovskyi district, a 63-year-old woman from Kherson died in the hospital after suffering severe wounds from a Russian drone strike.
That same day, attacks were also recorded in the Odesa region, where civilian infrastructure was hit. Residential buildings and port facilities came under fire. Containers and vehicles caught fire at the port, and two hangars were damaged. In a residential area, a house suffered damage to its facade, roof, and windows.
