Shelling on March 29
This assault followed a series of attacks on March 29. On that day, Russian forces shelled the Blagoveshchensky Convent in the village of Pryozerne during a Sunday Divine Liturgy. While no casualties were reported, the structure sustained damage. Additionally, on March 30, Russian forces struck the Hlukhiv community in the Sumy region with guided aerial bombs, leaving more than ten people wounded, including a child.
These incidents highlight an escalation in hostilities across the region, putting civilians at greater risk amid ongoing combat operations.
The intensifying conflict in eastern Ukraine, particularly in the Poltava and Sumy areas, underscores the continuation of active warfare and the growing threat to non-combatants. These events emphasize the critical role of air defense systems and the urgent need for measures to protect citizens from potential strikes. With persistent dangers, authorities are calling on the public to remain vigilant and heed official warnings from local government sources.
