Strike on Poltava Region Claims One Life, Injures Three Including an 11-Year-Old Boy.
Aftermath of the March 30 Shelling in the Poltava District
According to Novyny.live: A Russian attack on the Poltava district on the evening of March 30 left one person dead and three others wounded. Two of the injured were hospitalized, among them an 11-year-old boy who remains under medical care. The shelling caused severe repercussions for the local community, sparking widespread concern among residents. This incident is part of a broader pattern of escalating hostilities in central Ukraine.
The day before, on March 29, Russian forces targeted the Blagoveshchensky Convent in the village of Pryozerne, located in the Kherson region. While the monastery grounds sustained damage, no casualties were reported from that attack. However, Vitaliy Dyakivnych stated,
“two injured individuals have been hospitalized,”underscoring the continued gravity of the security situation in the area.
These events highlight the relentless military operations and rising tensions across Ukraine, with devastating consequences for civilians. The late-March bombardments serve as a stark reminder of the dangers faced by non-combatants in conflict zones and underscore the urgent need for international intervention to bolster safety and protection.
