Escalating Violence in Sumy, Kryvyi Rih, and Kharkiv

According to Espreso.tv: Russian attacks across Ukraine's Sumy, Kryvyi Rih, and Kharkiv regions have resulted in civilian deaths and severe damage to infrastructure. This latest wave of assaults underscores the ongoing threat to non-combatants in these areas.

In the Romny community of Sumy region, a drone attack killed four people, including two women, an elderly man, and a toddler. The victims were a 76-year-old man, women aged 39 and 26, and a child just one year and eight months old. Three men, aged 33, 35, and 62, sustained injuries.

Over a 24-hour period in Sumy region, five people died and 34 others were wounded. Between July 2 and 3, 2026, Russian forces carried out nearly 110 strikes across 26 settlements in 16 territorial communities, causing extensive harm to civilian infrastructure.

In Kharkiv region, an attack by a drone hit six people, including three children. Overall, shelling in the area left one person dead and 16 wounded, among them four children. Russian troops deployed 2 guided aerial bombs, 10 'Molniya' drones, 9 FPV drones, and 25 other unmanned aerial vehicles.
