Deadly Strike Hits Zaporizhzhia
According to UATV: On June 7, Russian forces launched an attack on the Zaporizhzhia region, specifically targeting the settlement of Balabyne. The tragic incident left two people dead and five others injured. Among the wounded, the oldest victim is 79 years old, while the youngest is just 17. A separate strike hit a gas station, where a 59-year-old man was harmed.
Local official Ivan Fedorov stated: 'The Russian attack on a public transport stop in Balabyne claimed two lives. Five civilians required medical assistance.'
This event underscores the severity of the situation and the devastating consequences of the assault. The attack involved 236 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), highlighting the scale of aggression faced by civilians in the region. According to Fedorov, the man injured at the gas station received the necessary medical care:
'A 59-year-old man was wounded in the enemy strike. He is receiving all required medical attention.'
