Drone Attacks on Kharkiv Region

According to Novyny.live: Between June 13 and 14, Russian forces launched drone attacks on ten settlements in the Kharkiv region, resulting in two casualties and significant damage. On the morning of June 14, a Russian drone struck a private home in the town of Velykyi Burluk, sparking a fire that spread across 150 square meters.

The assaults on the Kupiansk district also had severe consequences:

  • A café in Velykyi Burluk was damaged;
  • A private house in the village of Ploske was hit;
  • In the village of Shypuvate, two private homes sustained damage;
  • An agricultural building in the village of Yayechna was affected;
  • In the Bohodukhiv district, a private house in Petrivka and two residential buildings in Shuby were damaged.

Additional destruction occurred in the Izium and Chuhuiv districts. In Sukhyi Yar, a village in the Izium district, a private residence was damaged, while in the town of Shestakove in the Chuhuiv district, a civilian enterprise suffered damage. Beyond the material losses, a 38-year-old man was injured after stepping on an explosive device.

Ongoing Military Aggression

On June 13, Russian troops also struck the settlement of Shevchenkove in the Kharkiv region with guided aerial bombs. Furthermore, on June 12, Russian forces reportedly planned to raise the Russian tricolor flag in the center of Kupiansk. These incidents underscore the continued military aggression and a marked escalation of the situation in the area.

The Kharkiv region remains under severe pressure as Russian forces persist with relentless attacks. These strikes not only damage civilian infrastructure but also endanger the lives of local residents. The international community’s response is critical, as the intensifying aggression may call for new measures to support Ukraine and prevent further escalation of the conflict.
