Taísia Povalij ignores the letters of Yevhen Rybychynskyi

Ukrainian poet-songwriter Yevhen Rybychynskyi reported that Taísia Povalij continues to use his works illegally, ignoring his letters regarding the termination of the agreement from 2014. According to Rybychynskyi, she has not responded to any of the three letters sent to him.

‘Legally, any intention can be unilaterally formalized… But this is just a declaration. Everything else must be resolved in court if there are grounds for it,’ explained the poet.

The main problem, according to him, lies in the absence of mention of reproduction rights in digital format in the initial agreement with Povalij. Rybychynskyi noted that he deleted most of Povalij's performances of his songs from YouTube, but a court decision is required to delete them from Spotify and iTunes.

A New Life for Yevhen Rybychynskyi's Works

Let us remind that Yevhen Rybychynskyi transferred the rights to perform his songs to Taísia Povalij for singer Khristina Okhtiva, becoming her producer. He shared that he met Okhtiva in Donbas during a performance for the military.

Yevhen Rybychynskyi says he does not want to talk more about the collaborator Povalij, prioritizing positivity and new opportunities.
