Munir's Father Outraged by Ballon d'Or Results: Dembele Outpaced Yamal.
According to inkorr.com: The father of the popular footballer Munir Nasraoui, who plays for Barcelona, expressed his outrage over the voting results for the Ballon d'Or. According to Diario Sport, Munir came in second place, while the victory went to Ousmane Dembele from PSG.
"This is not theft, but moral harm has already been done. Lamin Yamal is not just the best footballer in the world, or I'm not a father, but he truly is unmatched. An astonishing situation has occurred. However, next year the Ballon d'Or will definitely come to Spain," said Munir Nasraoui's father.
Meanwhile, Ousmane Dembele was recognized as the winner of the Ballon d'Or 2025.
Ukraine at the World Championship
Historically, Ukrainians have won the Ballon d'Or three times. Andriy Shevchenko received this award in 2004, and Oleg Blokhin and Oleg Belanov in 1986 and 1975 respectively. All of them played for Dynamo Kyiv under the management of Valeriy Lobanovskyi, and Shevchenko won the award while playing for AC Milan.
In the qualifying game for the 2026 World Cup, the Ukrainian national team drew with Azerbaijan - 1:1. The next match against the Icelandic national team will be played on October 10.
Previously, the Ukrainian team lost to France in the qualifying match for the 2026 World Cup with a score of 0:2. The game took place at the stadium in Wroclaw, Poland, where fans supported the team with a banner reading "Fortress of Europe".
Ukrainian footballers continue to fight for the opportunity to participate in the 2026 World Cup, while Munir Nasraoui's father remains dissatisfied with the results of the Ballon d'Or voting. The question remains whether Munir will be able to change the situation next season and prove his ability at the highest level, which would add intrigue to the series of matches that his team still has to play.
