Without visiting TCC: 3 categories of Ukrainians will be able to get a deferral from mobilization in Reserve+.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine plans to introduce a new function in the Reserve+ application, which will allow conscripts to receive a deferral from conscription automatically.
According to Deputy Minister of Defense Kateryna Chornogorenko, the implementation of this project requires changes to the regulatory framework and ensuring the technological readiness of partners who have the relevant data registers.
From the beginning of November 2024, access to three forms of automatic deferrals is planned: for full-time students, parents of many children, and persons with disabilities. Currently, the Ministry is working on coordinating the necessary regulatory changes.
The deputy minister emphasized that their goal is to ensure that persons who have grounds for deferral can easily and quickly report their right through the application without visiting the territorial military commission in person.
Earlier, Chornogorenko noted that the absence of an automated mechanism for providing and extending deferrals creates corruption risks and unequal conditions for citizens.
