Residents of Kropotkin report that, as a result of the attack, the city has started experiencing power supply problems.

Attacks on oil refineries in Russia

On the night of August 30, attacks occurred at two oil refineries in Russia – in Krasnodar and Syzran in the Samara region. This is stated by 'Glavkom' referring to Exilenova+.

It is known that the Krasnodar Oil Refinery is the oldest of the currently operating Russian oil refineries.

Additionally, on the night of August 28, the Afipsky Oil Refinery in Krasnodar Krai and the Kuibyshev Oil Refinery in the Samara region came under fire.

Furthermore, on the night of August 24, units of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, together with other parts of the Defense Forces, struck an object of fuel and energy infrastructure in Russia.

Earlier, the commander of the UAV Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Robert Brovdii 'Madyar', demonstrated a fire at the 'Unecha' oil pumping station in the Bryansk region following another drone attack.

  • Moreover, the oil refinery of PJSC 'Lukoil' in Volgograd halted oil loading.

Thus, the sanctions pressure may significantly reduce the influx of foreign funds into the Russian economy and exhaust its primary source of wealth.

The recent attacks on several oil refineries and oil pumping stations in Russia have led to power supply issues and delays in oil loading. These events may have serious consequences for the country's economy, complicating an already critical situation and intensifying sanctions pressure from the international community.
