The Ukrainian Strength Foundation joined the fundraising efforts of veteran Vitaliy Bilyak for the needs of the Defense Forces.

The Ukrainian charity fund 'Ukrainian Strength', together with other philanthropists, raised funds for the needs of the Defense Forces. The initiative was started by Vitaliy Bilyak, the head of the veterans' association of Pustomytys'kyi district. The funds raised were used to purchase equipment worth over 2 million UAH, which was handed over to the reconnaissance units and the Air Assault Forces. Among the purchased equipment are three ATVs for evacuation, three EW systems, and three SUVs.
«Thank you for doing this together and for passing it on together. This equipment will not only assist in carrying out combat missions but will also save the lives of our defenders,» stated Vitaliy Bilyak during the ceremonial handover of the equipment in Lviv.
This equipment was procured for the BBS Orion 150 brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, groups of Timur's Battalion 'Brotherhood' of the Main Intelligence Directorate, the 18th Slavyansk Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine, the 82nd Air Assault Brigade, the 40th Marine Brigade, and the 53rd Special Operations Brigade.
The Ukrainian Strength Foundation is currently fulfilling a request from a veteran for the needs of one of the Defense Forces units.
Vitaliy Bilyak is a graduate of the Lviv Polytechnic National University and was a participant in the Anti-Terrorist Operation from 2015 to 2017. He joined the volunteer unit 'Brotherhood' of the Main Intelligence Directorate and took part in the liberation of Kyiv and Chernihiv regions. Later, he joined the 18th Slavyansk Brigade of the National Guard as a commander of an assault group, where he served as a tactics instructor.
Vitaliy Bilyak fought during the invasion in the Bakhmut area, in the city of Horlivka (Maiorsk), and in the Serebryansky forest. As a result of his injuries, he lost a limb due to an anti-tank mine. He is currently the head of the veterans' association of Pustomytys'kyi district.
