Research: 63% of Ukrainians suffer from anxious sleep due to stress

More than half of Ukrainians, specifically 63%, face anxious sleep due to stress and worries. Additionally, 45% of people encounter insomnia problems. These figures are provided by a sociological study from Gradus Research Company.

According to the survey results, in the past weeks, 82% of Ukrainians experienced stress and nervousness.

77% of respondents claim that the war is the main reason for their stress states. More than half, specifically 56%, are worried about the threat of further escalation of the conflict.

As part of the study, it was found that 38% of Ukrainians lost their jobs due to the war, 37% lost material assets, and 19% lost health. Additionally, 12% suffered damage to their housing, and 9% lost relatives or loved ones.

Interestingly, most of those who lost their jobs due to the war have relocated within Ukraine. 23% of respondents did not suffer any losses due to the war.

According to the study, the war significantly affects the mental state of Ukrainians, causing stress, anxious sleep, and other health problems. Most surveyed claim that the war is the primary cause of their stresses and worries.
