According to ТСН: About 60% of the residents of Poland agree with the opinion of President Karol Nawrocki that relations with Ukraine cannot be considered partnership.

These data were obtained as a result of a sociological survey conducted by SW Research. According to the survey, 25% of respondents have an opposite point of view, and 15.2% refrained from answering.

The survey took place on December 16–17, 2025, and covered 800 internet users aged 18 and older. The sample was formed based on random quotas.

Requirements of the President of Poland

It should be noted that President of Poland Karol Nawrocki stated in an interview with Wirtualna Polska that “relations between Ukraine and Poland cannot be called partnership, as Kyiv ignores important issues for Poles.” He emphasized that the exhumation in Volhynia is an important aspect, but for the Ukrainian side “it is not even a subject of real consideration.”

Nawrocki demands from Kyiv the resolution of “old issues” in exchange for partnership with Poland. The President expressed confidence that true partnership with Ukraine is impossible without resolving complex issues that have long “been on the table.”

These research results underscore the tension in Polish-Ukrainian relations and the importance of addressing historical problems for establishing cooperation. President Nawrocki's demands for meeting certain conditions and the issue of exhumation demonstrate that for many Poles, relations with Ukraine are sensitive and require careful consideration.
