Business Under Control: The Tax Service Sent More Than a Thousand Warning Letters.
The State Tax Service has begun the process of informing companies about possible mistakes and violations to avoid further 'punitive' measures in the future.
The head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine, Ruslan Kravchenko, emphasized that it is important for the service not only to perform fiscal and punitive functions but also to provide service to companies. He noted that interaction and clarification for businesses regarding tax issues is a key part of the work of the Tax Service. It was also mentioned that before scheduled inspections, the tax service sends letters with warnings and recommendations for correcting possible violations.
Interestingly, the Tax Service decided to focus on prior informing and consultations to avoid situations of violations and further problems for businesses. Such a strategy will contribute to improving cooperation between the tax service and enterprises and will help avoid misunderstandings and misinterpretations in taxation.
