Business received state support of 3.6 billion UAH: leading regions and industries.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Finance reported that since the introduction of state guarantees on a portfolio basis in December 2020, nearly 48 thousand loans have been issued in Ukraine for a total amount of over 154 billion UAH. During the period of martial law, which lasted 42 days, more than 42 thousand loans were issued for a total of 143.7 billion UAH.Just in May, small entrepreneurs applied for loans totaling 3.6 billion UAH, of which over 1.9 billion UAH were guaranteed by the state. By the beginning of June, 29 banks serviced over 22 thousand loans totaling 76.5 billion UAH, of which over 34 billion UAH were covered by state guarantees.The most active banks in terms of the number of loans issued under state guarantees are Privatbank, Oschadbank, Ukrgasbank, PUMB, and Ukreximbank. The leading regions in terms of activity in this area are Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Lviv, Kharkiv, Kyiv, and Odesa regions. Providing loans to small and medium-sized enterprises under state guarantees contributes to the development of the economy and the support of entrepreneurship in Ukraine.
