The US will provide Ukraine with 500 million dollars in aid
US President Joe Biden announced a defense aid package for Ukraine, valued at 500 million dollars. This information was made public by the US Department of State, as reported by Ukrinform.
This additional aid, provided from the reserves of the Department of Defense, is valued at 500 million dollars.
As part of the aid package, the supply of the following equipment is foreseen: counter-unmanned aerial systems (c-UAS), HIMARS rocket artillery systems, 155 mm and 105 mm artillery shells, high-speed anti-radiation missiles (HARMs), unmanned aerial systems (UAS), mine-resistant ambush-protected vehicles (MRAP).
In addition, Ukraine will receive multi-purpose HMMWV vehicles, light tactical vehicles, equipment for protection against chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear threats (CBRN), Javelin and AT-4 anti-tank systems, TOW missiles, ammunition for small arms, grenades, and training equipment, as well as spare parts and auxiliary equipment.
