Blinken calls on Ukraine to make important decisions regarding mobilization.
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken urged Ukraine to make 'difficult decisions' regarding mobilization, emphasizing the critical importance of human resources to confront Russian aggression.
He stated this at a briefing following a meeting with NATO foreign ministers in Brussels, according to Radio Liberty. According to him, the U.S. is ready to provide proper training and equipment for mobilized troops.
'Ukraine needs to make difficult decisions regarding further mobilization, but these are necessary decisions. We strive to ensure that they have the training and necessary equipment,' the U.S. Secretary of State stressed.
Blinken emphasized that the availability of funding and ammunition does not solve the problem without a sufficient number of personnel on the front line.
This position was also supported by White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, who noted in an interview with PBS News that Ukraine needs to strengthen its positions in terms of troop numbers on the front line. In his estimation, no weapons system can change the situation without adequate human resources.
President Volodymyr Zelensky previously noted that partners do not always deliver promised weapons on Time, and in a November interview with Ukrainian Radio, he mentioned receiving only half of the promised U.S. assistance.
