B&M sells unique hand warmers for 69 pence: how they work.
Effective heaters from B&M
According to The Sun: B&M offers an economical way to keep warm during the cold season without turning on heaters.
The retailer is selling a handy gadget for 69 pence, but customers should hurry before the product sells out.
B&MKool Pak Hand Warmers provide up to 10 hours of warmth and are perfect for walks in cool autumn weather.
These warmers are also great for cozy evenings on the couch.
Just take one in each hand and wrap up in a blanket while watching your favorite shows.
Each pack contains two hand warmers that activate in the air and do not require batteries.
This product sells out quickly, and the B&M website warns of limited availability of hand warmers.
The drawback is that these warmers are designed for single use.
However, if you are looking for a more eco-friendly and reusable option, many reusable hand warmers can be found on Amazon.
Electric blanket from Dreamland
The brand Dreamland has also released the Snuggle Up electric blanket, which costs only 4 pence per hour of use.
The blanket comes in a modern pink color and heats up in just five minutes.
It features a detachable controller that allows you to adjust the temperature without getting out of bed.
Moreover, the blanket has safety features that limit the maximum temperature.
One of the key features is an automatic timer that turns off the blanket after one, three, or nine hours.
The cost of using the blanket is also really low — only 4 pence per hour, based on the average electricity price in the UK for the period from October 1 to December 31, 2025 (26.35 pence per kilowatt-hour).
Washing the blanket is also very easy — it is machine washable and safe to tumble dry.
Additionally, Dreamland has reduced the price of this product from £69.99 to £29.99.
The product description on the site states:
“The best-selling Dreamland blanket offers luxurious comfort, perfect for lounging on the sofa under a warm blanket.”
“This versatile blanket is perfect as a gift and will be a must-have accessory for any student. It’s great for sleep or relaxation.”
Customers are actively leaving positive reviews on the Dreamland site. One happy customer said:
“This is such a useful product. I bought one for myself and another for my mother as an early Christmas gift. She is extremely happy.”
Another added:
“I already have a larger Dreamland blanket that I use on the sofa, and I bought this one because it’s smaller and more convenient for the chair in my office.”
“The pink color is just for fun. The blanket is easy to use - six temperature settings and timers for 1, 3, or 6 hours - it’s a great product. Last year I didn’t need to turn on the heating until mid-November.”
Currently, B&M and Dreamland products have become popular among consumers looking to stay warm during the autumn and winter periods. Both brands offer affordable solutions that will help ease cold evenings by providing additional comfort. Especially these products can be useful in the context of rising heating and energy resource costs.
