The total tax debt of 326 enterprises in Ukraine as of October 1 amounted to UAH 12.65 billion. This was reported on Tuesday, October 17, by Yevhen Bambizov, head of the Office of Large Taxpayers, in his blog.
According to Bambizov, banks that are in the liquidation process are not in a hurry to repay debts. Currently, their total debt amounts to UAH 3.14 billion (26.7% of the total debt).
'A lion's share of the entire tax arrears (UAH 2.1 billion) is accounted for by the debts of one specific company - Ukrnafta JSC. These debts arose as a result of the company's failure to pay self-declared income and VAT liabilities and continue to grow,' the tax official wrote.
Recall that earlier Bambizov talked about how gas stations evade taxes in billions.
Enterprises in Ukraine have a tax debt of UAH 12.65 billion, which is an increase compared to the previous period. Banks in liquidation are also not in a hurry to repay debts, with the largest share of debt attributable to Ukrnafta JSC.Read also
