The Odessa regional prosecutor's office has initiated an inspection of the city's parking lots, where violations by employees of KP 'Odestranparksservice' were already identified, and several barriers on the coast were dismantled.

Details of the case
The prosecutor's office is investigating instances of abuse of power by officials of KP 'Odestranparksservice' and one of the departments of the city council related to the conclusion of contracts with entrepreneurs regarding parking in the region. Violations have been found in the documentation, such as reduced area of parking lots and the installation of barriers.
As part of the investigation, law enforcement already liberated the parking lots from barriers to ensure unobstructed access to the Black Sea coast.
What punishment awaits
The actions of the defendants are qualified under part 2 of article 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (abuse of power) and may be punished with imprisonment for 3 to 6 years.

As a result of the investigation, access to the Black Sea coast has already been opened by removing obstacles. Serious punishment awaits violators - from 3 to 6 years of imprisonment.
