Brigitte Macron prepares medical evidence for court in the US over gender rumors.
Brigitte Macron plans to prove her identity
According to The Sun: Brigitte Macron is preparing to provide evidence that supports her female identity after an unexpected legal defeat in France related to rumors about her gender.
The First Lady of France, along with her husband, President Emmanuel Macron, plans to present scientific and photographic evidence in an American defamation case against Candace Owens, a prominent figure on the right.

The lawsuit was filed in Delaware in July seeking unpaid damages from conservative influencer Candace Owens.

Owens, who has millions of followers, has repeatedly claimed that 70-year-old Brigitte Macron was born a man.
In March, she vowed to 'put all her professional reputations on the line' for this claim, stating that Brigitte is actually her brother Jean-Michel Trogne and that her first husband never existed.
The Macrons' lawyer, Tom Clare, noted that the couple is prepared to respond.
He told the BBC that “expert scientific testimony” will be presented.
“She is determined to do everything to restore her reputation,” he added.
Clare also confirmed that photographs of Brigitte during her pregnancy and with her children will be presented in court.
“It is incredibly sad to realize that such evidence needs to be provided,” he stated.
“But she is ready to do it.”
The 218-page lawsuit was filed in Delaware in July, seeking damages.
It claims that Owens conducted a “campaign of global humiliation” and 'relentless bullying.'
The Macrons previously stated:
“Since Mrs. Owens has systematically confirmed these false claims in response to our inquiries, we have decided that legal action is the only way to resolve this situation.”
French President Emmanuel Macron denies that his wife Brigitte was born a man.

Owens' lawyers filed a motion to dismiss, arguing that the case should not be heard in Delaware and that it would lead to “significant financial and operational difficulties” for her.
She insists on her accusations, claiming her right to freedom of speech.
“In violation of the sacred principle of U.S. Constitutional law, the President and First Lady of France have filed a baseless lawsuit against an independent journalist,” states Owens' court filing.
The complaint outlines three grounds for dismissal:
- Absence of jurisdiction in Delaware;
- Expiration of the statute of limitations in France;
- Improper venue – a court may dismiss if another court is more appropriate for hearing the case.

Rumors about Brigitte's gender began to emerge in France after a publication in the far-right magazine Faits et Documents in 2021.
Blogger Natacha Rey and Amandine Roy spread these rumors in a viral YouTube video interview.
They claimed that Brigitte was born a man named Jean-Michel Trogne and never bore her three children.
The Macrons sued Rey and Roy for defamation in Paris. In 2024, they won, and the two women received a symbolic fine.
However, in June of this year, an appeals court overturned this decision, citing freedom of speech principles. The Macrons are now contesting this reversal.
President Macron categorically denies the allegations, calling them “false and fabricated.”
“The worst is false information and fabricated scenarios. People ultimately believe in them,” he said on International Women's Day.
Brigitte's uncle, Jean-Louis Ozier, testified in the previous case:
“I worked with Brigitte until the end of the 1980s and can confirm that she is not a man.”
Her daughter, Tiphaine Ozier, also spoke out, telling Paris Match:
“I am alarmed by the level of society when I hear what is said on social media about my mother being a man.”
For Macron, this conflict is personal.
“It's about defending my honor! Because it's nonsense,” he said in Paris Match.
The legal case in the US will focus on whether Owens acted with “actual malice” – being aware that she was spreading untruths, or recklessly ignoring the truth.

This situation regarding rumors about Brigitte Macron has become a significant topic in the media landscape, touching not only on the personal lives of the Macron couple but also on issues of gender identity and freedom of speech in contemporary society. Defamation cases often raise important questions about how public figures can protect their rights and reputation in an era where information spreads rapidly through social media.
The court hearing in the US may become an important moment not only for the Macron family but for society as a whole, which is observing how the legal system addresses such sensitive issues in a post-truth world.
