According to The Sun: A 68-year-old woman from Great Britain is accused of murdering her friend. According to the investigation, she strangled her victim with the electric cord of a vacuum cleaner during an argument in Benidorm. After the crime, the suspect confessed to the Spanish police.

According to available information, the suspect admitted her guilt after her arrest. The vacuum cleaner cord was seized for DNA testing, and a preliminary forensic examination confirmed that the woman had been strangled.
“A 64-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of murdering the 66-year-old woman, both from Great Britain,” said a National Police representative.
The investigation is ongoing, and currently, no further information can be provided. The witness who called the police also provided testimony at the scene.
The detectives have not yet revealed the identities of the women and their relationship. Both were renting an apartment in Benidorm, in an area known as Little England.
