Suspect in McCann case released: what is known about the conditions of release.
According to The Sun: Christian Brueckner, the suspect in the disappearance of Madeleine McCann, enjoyed a burger from McDonald's just a few steps away from a children’s store.
The 48-year-old criminal, who was serving a sentence in Sehnde prison in Lower Saxony, was spotted with a cheeseburger, sweet and sour nuggets, and coffee in the parking lot of the establishment.

This fast food restaurant is located about 30 feet from the BabyOne store, where baby strollers, toys, and other baby goods are sold.
Brueckner was spotted eating before he lit a cigarette outside. He was dressed in a purple striped shirt, beige pants, and black sneakers, with his eyes covered by dark sunglasses. He had a noticeable electronic ankle bracelet on his right leg.
The man was released on Wednesday after serving seven years for raping a 72-year-old American tourist in Portugal.
German courts required Brueckner to wear an electronic bracelet that restricts his movements to a radius of three miles from his new residence. If he violates this condition, an alarm will sound.

Christian Brueckner will today arrive at a safe house in Germany, starting a new life after being released from prison.
He will wear an electronic bracelet, limiting his movements to within three miles of his new permanent residence.
This means that the police will receive an alert if he steps outside the area without permission.
Brueckner is required to surrender his passport and obtain a new identification card to limit his movements throughout Germany.
However, there are concerns about his potential escape, as the electronic bracelet will stop functioning if he leaves Germany.
Investigators are worried that Brueckner may flee, despite the movement restrictions without a passport in other European countries.
As part of the questioning of Brueckner, detectives from Met have submitted a request for formal legal assistance to German investigators.
This status will grant them access to all German materials and witnesses related to the renewed interest of British detectives in the case.
The details of police monitoring of his movements remain unclear.
Brueckner remains only a suspect in the disappearance of Madeleine McCann, who disappeared from her family apartment in Portugal in 2007.
“He is not just our first suspect, he is our only suspect. We have evidence against him, but it is not strong enough for a conviction,” admitted German prosecutor Hans Christian Wolters.

The release of Brueckner marks another blow for Kate and Gerry McCann, who have been seeking answers for 18 years.
Three-year-old Madeleine was abducted from her bed in Praia da Luz while her parents dined nearby, sparking one of the largest missing persons searches in history.
Brueckner, a drifter with a history of sexual offenses against women and children, has always denied any involvement in the disappearance of Madeleine.
However, prosecutors argue that he remains their prime suspect.
