According to ТСН: The Russian military-industrial complex is actively fulfilling and exceeding missile and drone production plans, indicating that aerial attacks on Ukraine will continue.

Comments from the head of GUR

This was emphasized by the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Kyrylo Budanov, in an interview with 'Suspilne'. He noted that at the initial stage of the full-scale invasion, the Russians almost exhausted their missile stocks.

'If you remember, there was almost a year when all these strikes were quite episodic — this was the year 23 up until approximately April 24. Missile strikes were quite a rare occurrence, and Shahed drones were used singly.'

— he reminded. According to Budanov, since then, Russian military industry has experienced a significant rise and continues to operate at maximum capacity.

'They fully meet, and very often exceed production plans.'

— emphasized Budanov. He also noted that neither Iran nor North Korea are involved in the production of drones and missiles.

Kyrylo Budanov added that with the level of production seen from the Russian side, massive strikes on Ukrainian energy infrastructure, which began last fall, will continue.

It is noted that on December 27, the Russian army conducted a combined strike on Ukraine's critical infrastructure, using strike drones, air, sea, and ground-based missiles. A total of 559 aerial targets were recorded.

Budanov's comments indicate the resilience of the Russian military-industrial complex, which allows for continued attacks on Ukraine. In light of the increase in missile and drone production, Ukraine must be prepared for new challenges, as recent attacks underscore the importance of protecting energy infrastructure and civilian objects.
