The Disappearance of the British Sailor: Police Release Last Footage from the Kebab Shop.
The Disappearance of the British Sailor
According to The Sun: Surveillance footage shows the last moments of British sailor James Noonan before his mysterious disappearance.
The 34-year-old James, who has been traveling around the world for five months, disappeared on August 18.
PoliceJames, who is referred to as Jamsi by his family, visited the Paddy's Anchor pub on the island of Las Palmas.
Shortly afterwards, he disappeared while trying to get a late-night snack at the kebab shop that was only six minutes from the pub.
The Spanish police released his image in an attempt to find him. In the video, he orders food at the kebab shop while holding a dog on his lap.
One of the photos shows three patrons enjoying their meals.
According to official documents, James contacted the Irish consulate on August 19 to report the loss or theft of his passport – one day after the last contact.
“We know he had been drinking, but as a family we do not believe he would have made an impulsive late-night decision,” said his half-sister Nikita.
“It doesn’t make sense to claim that 'he fell overboard' just because he was drunk – there are many holes in this story.”
The Paddy's Anchor pub had previously reached out to James' family on social media, emphasizing that his sister has been searching for him ever since she last saw him in Las Palmas.
“His boat was found off the coast of Gran Canaria, but there has been no contact since then.”
A call to the police regarding James' boat was made between August 24 and 25, as his boat was found a day later, 50 miles off the coast.
Initially, it was reported that James had not taken his Jack Russell, known as Tumbleina, but it was later confirmed that the dog was aboard.
