World democracies doubt the honesty of Nicolas Maduro's victory in the Venezuelan presidential elections, reports the Ukrainian publication 'Khvilya' citing DW.

According to the National Electoral Council of Venezuela, Maduro received 51% of the votes in the election, although exit polls predicted an opposition victory. However, world democracies question such a victory.

The President of Argentina calls it 'fraud' and hopes that the Venezuelan Armed Forces will protect democracy and the will of the people.

Representatives of other American countries, such as Peru, Uruguay, Chile, Costa Rica, and Guatemala, also criticize Maduro's 'victory.' The President of Chile calls the election results implausible.

Representatives of the international community and Venezuelan exiles demand transparency in the process and the publication of election protocols.

The US and the EU demand a fair and transparent vote count. The US Secretary of State states that the results do not reflect the will of the people and warns that the international community will respond accordingly. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Spain also demands the publication of detailed voting data.

Maduro was only congratulated on his 'victory' by China, Russia, Cuba, and Bolivia, who promised to promote cooperation with Venezuela. Russian President Vladimir Putin writes that relations with Venezuela are a strategic partnership, and Maduro himself is always a welcome guest on Russian soil.

Currently, the world community expects full transparency of the electoral process and vote counting to determine the honesty of Maduro's election victory.
