Chevrolet unveils the new 2027 Bolt: the most affordable electric vehicle at $29,990.
According to Korrespondent.net: Chevrolet has officially announced the new generation of its budget electric vehicle Bolt, which will appear in 2027. According to Carscoops, the car returns after a two-year production break and receives a number of technical updates.
Exterior and Interior
The external changes turned out to be minimal: updated headlights, rear lights, and bumpers, as well as a revised trunk lid. The interior features a new digital instrument panel, an electronic gear shifter on the column instead of the usual buttons, as well as physical climate control regulators. In addition, two new storage compartments have been added to the front of the panel.

Technical Specifications
The electric motor, borrowed from the Equinox EV, has a power of 210 hp, although specific dynamic characteristics have not yet been disclosed. The hatchback will receive a new 65 kWh battery, providing a range of up to 410 km - slightly more than the previous model. Charging speed has also tripled: now the Bolt can support up to 150 kW, allowing the battery to charge from 10 to 80% in just 26 minutes.
Price and Production
The new 2027 Chevy Bolt will cost at least $29,990 in the Launch Edition, making it the most affordable electric vehicle from the American brand. A little later, the LT version will appear, priced at $28,995. Production of the new model will begin early next year at the GM plant in Kansas.
It is noted that Tesla previously introduced two affordable versions of its own vehicles, highlighting the growing competition in the electric vehicle market.
