Red Bull Chief Earned a Record £7 Million: How Christian Horner Made His Money.
According to The Sun: Christian Horner, head of the Red Bull Racing team, earned an impressive £7,046,000 last year, confirming his status as the highest-paid manager in Formula 1.
According to new financial reports from Red Bull, Horner's salary has increased by £46,000 — that’s about £4,000 per month.
PAThis means Horner now receives £590,000 per month. Meanwhile, these figures DO NOT include bonuses for supporting Max Verstappen in winning the world champion title, which is estimated to potentially increase his income to £10 million a year.
Additionally, the former Formula 1 chief received £80 million for leaving Red Bull Racing, which he will receive over the next five years. This deal allows him to return to Formula 1 as the head of a competing team in 2026.
While the payout is colossal, Horner will have to pay nearly half of it in taxes.
In the pit lane, there are also rumors that Horner wants to obtain 'a stake in the team', which would allow him to make significant decisions, more than just as the team principal. It is believed that Flavio Briatore could act as an investor to support this ambitious initiative alongside former F1 chief Bernie Ecclestone, who left his position in 2017.

However, Briatore has denied any possibility of realizing this plan in the near future. His connections with the head of Alpine have also sparked rumors about ties to the French manufacturer.
As Horner prepares to return to the tracks, he decided to spend some of his wealth on a romantic getaway with his wife, singer Geri Halliwell, around Scotland. The couple got married ten years ago, but only now are they making their honeymoon.
Particularly, Horner's unconventional plans for the future are generating considerable interest in the motorsport world. His ambitions for revolutionary changes in the team could not only impact his career but the overall landscape of Formula 1 as well. At this time, it is crucial to keep an eye on developments and his potential return to the extremely competitive racing environment.Read also
