Odesa TCC refuted the fake about the injury of a man during the escape.
According to ТСН: Information about an event in Ovidiopol, Odesa region is actively spreading on social networks and anonymous public pages. The authors of the posts claim that a 42-year-old man allegedly tried to escape from the premises of the Territorial Center for Recruitment (TCC), as a result of which he suffered severe injuries and was urgently hospitalized.
These messages sparked a reaction from the Odesa Regional TCC and SP, which called them a fabrication. Representatives of the agency categorically denied the fact of the incident, assuring that the described events did not take place in the premises of the Odesa District TCC in Ovidiopol.
“We officially inform that the information presented on social media is fabricated. No citizen was injured in the premises of the center, and reports of hospitalization in serious condition are inaccurate,” the agency’s statement reads.
The TCC emphasized that they adhere to the principles of transparency in their activities. They assured that, if any incident had actually occurred, the society would have received an official explanation and a legal assessment of the events.
The military believes that the spread of such rumors aims to destabilize the situation in the region and in the country overall. This is part of an information war aimed at disrupting mobilization processes.
“Such information leaks aim solely to discredit mobilization measures and artificially create social tension,” the regional TCC emphasized.
It is worth noting that earlier, Odesa law enforcement detained a suspect in an armed attack on a TCC serviceman. He inflicted a stab wound and had been hiding for almost two months.
This situation underscores how important the accuracy of information is at a time when disinformation can have serious consequences. Official structures are standing guard for the truth, and their response demonstrates a willingness to counter attempts to destabilize the situation in the state.
