In Ukraine, the duration of electricity outages has been reduced: what has changed.
According to ТСН: The duration of electricity outage schedules in Ukraine will be reduced due to a review of the list of critical infrastructure facilities.
Why the duration of outage schedules will be reduced
Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine Mykola Kolysnyk stated that this way it has been possible to free up at least 800 megawatts of electricity for consumers.
“This will allow to shorten the duration of outage schedules for household consumers and industries,” said the Deputy Minister of Energy.
Mr. Kolysnyk also emphasized that citizens will be able to feel the reduction in outages only after all necessary technical measures are completed by military administrations and regional energy companies.
Moreover, recently in Odesa, people blocked the road due to the lack of electricity.
A similar situation occurred near Kyiv: in Kryukivshchyna, residents of the local residential complex “Yevromisto” blocked the road due to the lack of electricity.
The reduction in the duration of outages can be a positive signal for the population, which has already felt discomfort from frequent electricity interruptions. The reduction of outage schedules will not only improve people's living conditions but also support the normal operation of enterprises, which is especially important in conditions of economic instability.
