Mobilized individuals and volunteers will now be fed at the state's expense: new nutrition rules.

According to ТСН: Mobilized Ukrainians and volunteers who plan to sign a contract will now receive meals at the TCC at the expense of the state, according to the Catalog of Products applied in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

Update of nutrition rules

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has changed the rules for organizing meals for citizens turning to TCCs and SPs during mobilization. According to the new regulations, those who come to military enlistment offices will be provided with food at the state’s expense, in accordance with the food catalog of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“Changes to the procedure for mobilization and nutrition norms will allow for better organization of support for people during the preparation phase for sending them to the military and up to the moment of inclusion in the military units' lists,” the ministry noted.

Free meals for students

It was also previously reported that starting from the new school year, beginning September 2026, students in grades 1-11 in Ukraine will receive free meals.

These innovations indicate the growing attention of the state to the needs of mobilized individuals and volunteers, as well as the government's commitment to improving conditions for children in educational institutions. The introduction of free meals in schools aims to support families in the current situation in the country and ensure students receive adequate nutrition during their studies.
