Vegetable prices please Ukrainians: cucumbers and tomatoes have significantly decreased in price.
Ukrainians can now rejoice at more affordable prices for fresh tomatoes and cucumbers, as reported by the Minfin portal, these vegetables have become cheaper.
In summer, people usually consume more fresh vegetables, particularly tomatoes and cucumbers. An analysis of prices from June 2025 showed that prices for these vegetables have significantly decreased.
Among tomatoes, prices have notably fallen; for instance, pink varieties now cost from 103.90 hryvnias per kilogram, compared to 125.87 previously. Cucumbers have not been left behind either: their prices have dropped from 77.89 to 49.99 hryvnias per kilogram for regular varieties.
Thus, the decrease in vegetable prices in Ukraine makes them more accessible to buyers, which may stimulate increased demand in the market. The new prices for tomatoes and cucumbers encourage Ukrainians to purchase more fresh vegetables at more favorable prices, promoting market activity and supporting a healthy lifestyle in summer.
