Kyiv Fuel Market Update

According to Novyny.live: On March 27, 2023, fuel prices across Kyiv remained unchanged from the previous day, with some station networks even reducing their rates. This lack of a sharp price hike came as welcome news for drivers in the capital.

Major gas station chains including:

  • OKKO
  • WOG
  • SOCAR
  • KLO
  • UPG
  • BRCM

all kept their existing fuel prices. At OKKO, WOG, and SOCAR, a liter of A-95 gasoline costs 74.99 hryvnias, while diesel fuel at these stations is priced at 86.99 hryvnias per liter. Autogas at OKKO, WOG, and SOCAR ranges between 46.98 and 46.99 hryvnias per liter.

At BRCM stations, A-95 gasoline sells for 68.99 hryvnias per liter, diesel for 81.99 hryvnias, and autogas for 43.99 hryvnias. Among all networks, Shell offers the cheapest diesel and A-95 gasoline at just 61.99 hryvnias per liter. UKRNAFTA has lowered its diesel price to 73.99 hryvnias per liter, with autogas priced at 41.99 hryvnias per liter.

This price stability on Kyiv’s fuel market on March 27 suggests a steady trend, which could benefit consumers. Notably, beyond fuel costs, Kyiv’s real estate market is also seeing shifts—1,596 apartments have been purchased using state budget funds, with 293 families already receiving them. Additionally, the Kyiv City State Administration has allocated 10 billion hryvnias to bolster the region’s energy resilience, a move with potential long-term implications for the city.

Market Outlook

The stable fuel prices in Kyiv may indicate a broader market stabilization, an important factor for the city’s economy. Price reductions on diesel and autogas at certain chains could spur demand, positively impacting drivers. Combined with planned investments in housing and energy security, this creates a favorable backdrop for developing urban infrastructure and improving the quality of life for Kyiv residents.
