This spring, Ukrainians enjoyed oranges, bananas, and lemons, which became particularly popular in summer due to their refreshing taste and high vitamin content.
According to the Minfin portal, the prices for bananas in June 2025 averaged 72.40 UAH per kilogram. This is 4.55 UAH cheaper than in the previous month. The market price of bananas ranged from 69.90 to 75.90 UAH per kilogram in various stores such as Metro and Megamarket.
At the same time, lemons became cheaper in June, costing an average of 124.50 UAH per kilogram compared to 136.96 UAH in May. Oranges remained at approximately the same price level, with only a slight increase for premium varieties.
Thus, in June, there was a decline in prices for bananas and lemons, while the prices for oranges remained stable with minor changes in some market segments.
