CNN for the first time showed the portrait that Putin gifted to Trump.
Russian artist Nikas Safronov created a portrait of Donald Trump that depicts the moment after the unsuccessful assassination attempt on the US president's life. In this painting, Trump stands on stage at a campaign rally, raising his fist as a symbol of strength and unity with America after the assassination attempt. The artist emphasizes that it was important to showcase his bravery and will not to give up during the attack. Safronov admitted that there were people who asked him to paint Trump as they see him, and although he was aware that this could enhance friendly relations between Russia and the USA, he decided not to take money for this work.
It is reminded that earlier there was an assassination attempt near Trump.
In September, Trump's campaign headquarters reported that the former president is safe after the shooting. There is no additional information about this incident yet.
