Masha Efrosinina’s Husband Takes on Iranian Drones in the UAE: His Role in Countering Shahed Threats.
Efrosinina’s Spouse Fights Shahed Drones from the Middle East
According to Novyny.live: Timur Khromayev, the husband of Ukrainian TV host Masha Efrosinina, is currently based in the United Arab Emirates, where he works as a military expert. His mission: helping to counter Iranian-made Shahed drones. Khromayev gained his military expertise after voluntarily joining the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the summer of 2022. During his service, he served as deputy company commander for armaments in a Kyiv-based unit and later commanded a company within the 112th Independent Territorial Defense Brigade of Kyiv.
On March 28, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the UAE, where he met with Ukrainian military experts stationed there. As part of that trip, he spoke directly with Khromayev, who has been providing valuable assistance in addressing threats posed by Iranian drones. This collaboration between Ukrainian specialists and UAE forces is part of a broader effort to strengthen regional security.
Khromayev’s Contribution
Through his work in the UAE, Timur Khromayev is making a meaningful impact in the fight against modern threats that Ukraine continues to face. His military background and expertise are helping to improve the security situation in the region, which in turn supports Ukraine’s broader efforts to counter aggression.
This partnership between Ukrainian and Emirati military experts reflects a strategic approach to regional security, especially as drone-based threats become more frequent and sophisticated. The involvement of Ukrainian professionals not only helps tackle specific dangers but also strengthens international ties and partnerships—an increasingly vital element in today’s military landscape.
