Putin does not want to end the war: expert explains the reason.
According to ТСН: The Russian president Vladimir Putin has no intention of ending the war, and there is a clear explanation for this.
Military expert Oleg Zhdanov is convinced that in the near future, no changes are to be expected on the front or in the situation with shelling.
Expert Comment
“Putin believes that their forces are advancing on all fronts – this is what he is being informed, and we can see this in the broadcasts of federal channels in Russia... Putin stated that there is no point in stopping now if by the end of spring they can 'liberate' the Donetsk and Luhansk regions completely. Thus, it is impossible for Putin to stop now. You know, it is easy to get involved in a war, but it is very difficult to get out of it. You understand what a complex mechanism it is to ceasefire. For an order to reach every soldier in the trench, and for that soldier to execute it and not open fire – so that no new shooting begins. So in this sense, it is impossible for Putin to stop today,” says Oleg Zhdanov.
The expert's words emphasize that the situation on the front remains tense, and the prospects for peace seem vague for now. Putin, it seems, is determined to continue military actions, which could lead to new escalations of the conflict. This raises concerns both in Ukraine and in the international community, which is monitoring the developments.
