Conjoined twins Carmen and Lupe talk marriage and intrusive questions: what they said.
According to The Sun: Two women defended their private matters, emphasizing that society does not need to know about their bodies to perceive them as individuals.
Spliced sisters Carmen and Lupe Andrade, who overcame all negative medical predictions, talked about their life after marriage.

Carmen married Daniel McCormick in October 2024, which further attracted attention to their personal lives.
25-year-old sisters, joined at the torso, share ribs and parts of their systems. Early medical predictions indicated that separating them could be dangerous, so Carmen and Lupe decided to stay together.
After the wedding, fans began to ask more questions about their private lives.
“I don’t understand why people need to know about my intimate parts to perceive us as human,” Carmen stated.
“Our sex life is no one’s business,” Daniel added.
Lupe also expressed her dissatisfaction with the constant questions about her sister's husband: “I love him like a brother, and that's it.”
Carmen dispelled rumors that she is the primary breadwinner in the family.
“According to critics, he is cheating on me, planning to leave, or just here to benefit,” she noted.
Despite their popularity on social media, Carmen emphasized that their life is far from glamorous. “We don’t want to exploit our followers,” she said, stressing that their income from social media is merely supplementary.

“We still have to work 50 hours a week to make ends meet,” Carmen added.
Recently, Carmen and Daniel officially announced their marriage. They met on the Hinge app in 2020, and the wedding took place on the Lover’s Leap bridge in New Milford, Connecticut.
“I really got married,” Carmen confirmed in a YouTube video.

Carmen and Lupe emphasized that their wedding was a small celebration for loved ones. Lupe, who identifies as asexual, noted: “I don’t want to get married.”
The sisters insist that despite their shared body, they are different people.
“We have two different IDs and social security numbers,” Carmen explained.
