The 60-year-old Textor stated that negotiations for the purchase of the club have already been underway. He is not a newcomer to the world of English football, as he was a shareholder of Crystal Palace until the summer.
According to him, Chansiri is open to new ideas. Textor noted:
“I hate to say anything controversial to the fans, but the owner, at least in my experience, was very open to ideas.”
He also added:
“This whole process is very complicated. Wednesday is one of the clubs we are considering.”
The Situation at the Club
Textor emphasized that the club is currently in a difficult situation and noted:
“There are many questions that need to be clarified with the owner and the league, and there is little time for this.”
The team currently occupies 23rd place in the championship, ahead of only their city rivals Sheffield United.

The club's fans are actively protesting against the management, and difficulties off the pitch are negatively impacting the team's results. Recently, the team also experienced the unexpected resignation of first-team coach Andy Parslow, who decided to focus on family matters.
This situation raises concerns among fans as the team continues to struggle for survival in the championship. A potential deal with Textor could provide the club with a chance for a fresh start and improved financial stability, but it remains unclear whether it can be realized amid current challenges.
