Liverpool suffered their first defeat of the season
According to The Sun: Liverpool's winning streak came to an end in the match against Crystal Palace when Eddie Nketiah scored the winning goal in the 97th minute.
The focus before the match was on Liverpool's attacking trio – Alexander Isak, Florian Wirtz, and Mohamed Salah. However, they failed to surprise the audience as Ismaïl Sarr from Crystal Palace opened the scoring in the ninth minute.

Match details
The defending champions tried to get back into the match when substitute Federico Chiesa equalized in the 87th minute. But Crystal Palace regained the lead when Nketiah scored in the dying minutes of the match.
Coach Slot is clearly concerned about the state of his defense, which showed a low level of play and made mistakes that could lead to catastrophic defeats early in the season.
Interestingly, the defender he attempted to sign in the summer – Marc Guéhi – continues to show excellent form at Crystal Palace.
One cannot forget that without goalkeeper Alisson, Liverpool could have suffered even greater losses as Palace created numerous goal-scoring opportunities. The final score is noble, but this is already Slot's first defeat after five victories.
“Many problems with the referees during the match,” Slot complained.
However, one should not underestimate Crystal Palace's achievements, who showed excellent play and currently have a remarkable unbeaten streak of 18 matches, which could open the door for them to European cups.
Future prospects for Liverpool
Liverpool may spend up to £246 million on Isak and Wirtz if these players meet the club's expectations.
For now, their on-field collaboration leaves much to be desired, although they showed confidence at the beginning of the match. However, the final pass often failed to meet expectations.
Liverpool tried to improve the situation in the second half, but controlling Crystal Palace revealed their weaknesses.
At the end of the match, after another attack, Nketiah took a shot that secured Crystal Palace's victory, and coach Glasner celebrated with great joy.
Despite this defeat, Liverpool is trying to find their game and regain confidence in attack. Their efforts will depend on the quick improvement of the integration of new players, as upcoming matches could prove decisive for their season. Crystal Palace, on the other hand, continues its steady march towards new successes, showing excellent play in their league. Read also
