According to UATV: The 56th World Economic Forum is being held in Davos, Switzerland, from January 20 to 23, 2023. This prestigious gathering, which typically sets the tone for global economic and political discussions for the year, will see crucial talks on forging a path to peace in Ukraine and supporting its energy sector. Approximately 3,000 participants from over 130 countries are expected, including more than 60 heads of state and government.
A key session titled 'The Path to Peace in Ukraine: By Force or Agreement?' is scheduled for 5:45 PM local time on January 20, the forum's second day. In a move highlighting the international diplomatic effort surrounding the conflict, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy intends to meet with former U.S. President Donald Trump during the event.
Furthermore, Andriy Sybiha has announced that Ukraine's partners have already confirmed initial pledges of additional aid for the country's energy sector. This support is vital for improving Ukraine's energy situation amidst the severe challenges posed by the ongoing war.
